Hilary Purtell
Hilary is a Boston based actor who currently works non-union, with SAG eligible status.
A graduate of New York University, Hilary has a BFA in acting from the Tisch school of the Arts, where she was classically trained for stage in the Circle in the Square program. Upon graduation, she worked as an assistant for both a theatrical agency and a New York City casting director who cast for local off Broadway plays as well as national film and television. Hilary then went out west to California where she earned a graduate degree in counseling psychology. While there, she spent two years training in on-camera film and commercial acting, and five years studying voiceover technique at the VOICE ONE studios in San Francisco. She is thrilled to be on the East Coast, working in Boston and other surrounding areas doing on-camera work, print and voiceovers both locally and nationally. Hilary is represented by Model Club, Inc.
Hilary is a Boston based actor and lifestyle model who's been in the industry, both on the East and West coasts, for over 25 years.

After graduation she worked in NYC as an assistant for both a theatrical agency and a casting director, working on off-Broadway plays as well as national film and television. Hilary then went out west to San Francisco to earn a graduate degree, and extensively study on-camera commercial technique as well as voice acting.
When not working on camera, Hilary has a dedicated sound studio in her home where she records and edits voiceovers for television, radio and web projects both locally and nationally.
Some of her clients include Genzyme, Amazon, Fidelity Investments, McDonalds, Marriott Hotel, Liberty Mutual, The YMCA, TD Garden and Merck Pharmaceuticals, among others.
Hilary is available to work on both SAG and non-union projects.
